We are a family owned and operated lodge outside of White Lake, SD. Joe and Paulena started the business with four little kids that are now adults and tangled within the day to day of your experience.
We strive to give you a good home cooked meal, an immersive hunt and overall small town experience, which so many have learned to love and look forward to. We promise you will fall in love with our sunsets, homemade biscuits, and beautiful birds.
Who we are
Joe and Jordan are your primary guides. Both guides have their own well-trained labs they provide for each hunt. Typically, each guide runs 1-2 dogs per walk which allows hunters to focus on the experience verses the work behind hunting. Watching our labs work is truly an experience.
You’ll quickly discover that the true mastermind behind the experience is our head chef, Paulena. A mom-turned-chef with a passion for creating unforgettable meals, she has become a favorite among returning hunters. Many guests say her cooking is one of the highlights of their trip. With Paulena and her talented team working their magic in the kitchen, you’re sure to find a new favorite dish—or two.
